I started with the 10-6 Pohaku-now I'm surfing on the Parmenter/Keaulana SUB 10-6.. both boards are so comfortable that it was easy for me to build up my confidence to do the SUP and now doing SUP surfing--thanks C4

WOW! That's all I can say about this board. I have had it a week already in several water conditions and it's responsivenes is un-matched. I have paddled several SUP'S, and none even come close. It's ability to turn on a dime is what trully sets it apart. Surfed it today in clean head-high waves and it did not disappoint!

A different kind of ride |

I just started using the C4 10'6'' and it's like going from long boarding to short boarding. I think C4 made the perfect board for this sport. I have ridden many SUP boards from 11' and bigger and wave riding was always like being on a barge, fun but still big board feel. The C4 board feels like being on a short board. It likes to be ridden in the stern and it's just as fast and stable as the big boards. When you start using the board, it likes to be paddled from the tail end, allowing the channels on the bottom to let the water flow under it. If you ride the board from the center, it'll just cruise slowly. It handles chop really well and a lot of attention to detail like the board pads and the attachments for a shoulder strap built into the board make it so much easier to walk with. I'd recommend this board for beginner to advanced riders.
